The Strike Vote is underway! Union Members are going to polling places on campuses across the state to make their voices heard as the question is called.
“Members across the state are being squeezed by the cost of living increasing in every community,” announced SEIU 503.
“Your bargaining team spent three days with management last week, and we finally started to see some progress. However, their proposal does not make up for years of substandard wage increases that have caused our buying power to diminish.
“In order to win meaningful raises we’re asking you to authorize our bargaining team to call a strike, which we will do if that is what is needed to win.“
